Our client is looking for a self-motivated well organised individual to join their Finance team. Reporting to the financial controller, this is a key role within their ambitious finance team. The main responsibility is to maintain their accounting records and reconciliations in an accurate and timely manner. It’s a hands-on position and you will be involved in sales ledger, carry out month end adjustments including accounting for depreciation of Fixed Assets and movement in investments. Another area of responsibility is working with the other Management Accountant to hold monthly management reporting review meetings with budget holders.
Requirements :
The successful candidate will be qualified ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, or part-qualified with experience. This is a role for someone who enjoys accounting and has sound knowledge of double entry bookkeeping. Knowledge of VAT would be advantageous especially in how it relates to a charity (partial exemption).
The successful candidate will be someone who is comfortable using a range of software, possess excellent interpersonal skills, high levels of accuracy and be able to manage and prioritise their own workload.
